The Cachet Arts and Culture Program at the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum announces an evening of art and presentations.

The Cachet Arts and Culture Program in collaboration with the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum and The Black Forest Fancies is currently seeking work for "Sex and Pharmacy", an exhibition opening July 2, 2015. Artists and performers are encouraged to apply whose work focuses on the theme of early contraception, sex work and pharmacy, undergarments at the turn of the century, health and care for the sexes and medicines for virility.

The Cachet Art and Culture Program is a collaboration between artists and educators which aims to strengthen the intersections of culture, health and healing and to provide a space for exchange and interaction between individuals, the community and the institution. The Pharmacy Museum is a space of historic medical significance and New Orleans is a city with a vibrant, active art culture - The Cachet Program intends to blend past and present, fact and fantasy, medicine and magic to concoct new understandings of history, health, and the collective spirit.
